Polar rewarded with two Plus X Awards

Polar has won two Plus X Awards at an award ceremony in Cologne's Theater am Tanzbrunnen in Germany on the 20th May, 2008. Plus X Award is Europe's largest contest for technology, sports and lifestyle products. Awards are presented for special achievements in the categories of Innovation, Design, Ease of Use, Functionality, Ergonomics and Ecology. Polar received Plus X Awards in the field of sports equipment with Polar FT80 for its design and Polar RS800 for its functionality. Both models were introduced to the Plus X Award Hall of Fame, where only 24 products got selected as the best products of the year.

FT80 is the most dedicated training partner for seriously committed fitness enthusiasts who crave to be in excellent condition and want look good. Its modern, athletic and distinguishable design features focus on good wearing comfort and emotionally appealing sport styling that elegantly stands out from the mass without being too excessive.
